Q: This is my first time using this system and I have only been provided a Login ID. What is the login process?

To login for the first time when you have only been provided a Login ID, follow these steps:

  1. Enter the Login ID you were assigned.
  2. Select the checkbox indicating that you are a First Time User. You will be unable to enter a password in the password field at this time, so skip this step for now.
  3. Click Login
  4. Requesting a Secure Access Code: You will be directed to a page displaying the secure contact information we have on file for your account. Select one contact from the list that you can immediately access and our system will deliver you a temporary secure access code within minutes. NOTE: To update your contact information for Internet Banking access, please contact us at 800.492.3276.
    Phone Delivery: If you select phone delivery of your temporary secure access code, just answer the phone normally when the call arrives. You will be prompted to make a selection to hear your code. If necessary, the system will give you the option to repeat the code. For security purposes, our system will not leave a code on voice mail, so if you miss the call just repeat the process.
    E-mail Delivery: If you select an e-mail account, you will receive a very simple e-mail containing only the requested code. If you do not receive this e-mail, please check your Junk Mail box. Be sure to configure your junk mail settings to allow any future e-mails from our address to your e-mail inbox.
  5. Enter or cut and paste the temporary secure access code you received in the Secure Access Code field. NOTE: Do not navigate away from the screen. If you need to access a web mail account to retrieve your secure access code, please open a new browser window or browser tab. If you close the window, you will need to start over and request a new code.
  6. Creating a New Password: Once you have successfully entered your temporary secure access code, you will be directed, step-by-step, through the completion of your enrollment. The process will end with you creating and confirming your new password, which will be used in combination with your Login ID on future logins.
Q: This is my first time using this system and I have been provided with both a Login ID and password. What is the login process?

Q: What if the password delivery contact information that is displayed is not accurate?

It is important that we have your current contact information on file. If the contacts displayed are not up-to-date, please contact us at 800.492.3276. You cannot complete a first-time enrollment or register your computer without at least one valid contact that you can access.

Q: What if I do not have access to the phone or e-mail account contacts listed?

You cannot complete a first-time enrollment or register a computer without access to at least one of the listed contacts. If you need immediate access, please contact us at 800.492.3276. Once we have verified your identity, we can add a new phone number or e-mail address that you can access.

Q: Is the code I received by phone or e-mail my new password?

No, it is only a temporary secure access code. Never enter a secure access code on the login page as a password or as an existing password when instructed to change your password or establish a new password.

 

Q: I have forgotten my password and need to access my accounts. What do I do?

If you have forgotten your password, but have not been locked out, follow these steps:

  1. Enter the Login ID
  2. Select the checkbox labeled Forgot Password?
  3. Click Login
  4. Requesting a Secure Access Code: You will be directed to a page displaying the secure contact information we have on file for your account. Q: I have forgotten my Login ID. What do I do?

If you forget your Login ID, please contact us at 800.492.3276. We will be required to securely verify your identity before providing you your Login ID.

Q: Is the code I received by phone or e-mail my new password?

No, it is only a temporary access code. Never enter a secure access code on the login page as a password or as an existing password when instructed to change your password or establish a new password.

Q: The system has warned me that one more unsuccessful login attempt will lock my account. What are my options?

If you have tried to login unsuccessfully and were warned that one more unsuccessful entry will lock your account, you may choose the Forgotten Password process indicated above. That process will enable you to reset your password to something you can remember without the risk of locking your account. If you choose to login one more time and fail, you will need to contact us at 800.492.3276 to unlock your account.

Q: I have been locked out of the system due to entering the wrong User ID or password too many times. How do I unlock my account?

If you have locked your account due to several unsuccessful login attempts, for your security, you are required to contact us at 800.492.3276 to unlock your account.

Q: Can I change my Login ID and/or password?

Once you have successfully logged into the Farm Bureau Bank Internet Banking system, you may change your Login ID and/or password by clicking Security under the Preferences category on the left side of the window.

 

Q: Can I use Bill Pay no matter what kind of account I have with Farm Bureau Bank?

No. Bill Pay is for deposit accounts. If you are interested in opening a deposit account, please visit Performance Checking account information or Money Market Savings account information. However, you can pay your Farm Bureau Bank credit card and vehicle loan online if you are registered for Internet Banking Service.

Q: How do I make a Farm Bureau Bank Credit Card payment online?

To pay your credit card online:

  1. Please log into your account at farmbureaubank.com.
  2. Go the "Accounts" menu and click on "Credit Card Center".
  3. After your credit card appears in the new window, click on "Pay Credit Card" from the top menu bar.
  4. Select "Make Payment Now" and click "OK". Choose your "Pay From" account, the payment date, and the dollar amount.
  5. Click "OK". Review the transactions details. If they are correct, click "OK".

You will be given a reference number to retain for your records that confirms the transaction has been completed.

Q: How do I pay a Farm Bureau Bank Vehicle loan online?

To pay your vehicle online from an external account, please complete and mail or fax an external account form to us. The form can be downloaded here. You will need Adobe Acrobat to view and print the file. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat, you can download a free copy here.

Q: How do I keep my password safe?

Another security measure is your Password. Every time you Log on to Farm Bureau Bank Internet Banking Service (“IBS”), you will be required to enter your User ID and Password. You control your Password, and can change it at any time. To keep your information secure, you should not reveal your Password to anyone.

Please save or memorize your User ID and Password and keep them in a secure location. Once you have completed the Sign Up process, you may change your Password at any time. To maintain the security of your account information, we recommend that you change your Password periodically.

Q: What is Credit Card Center?

Credit Card Center gives you detailed online credit card account information plus access to Balance Transfers, Account Inquiries, Online Payment services and much more.

Q: How do I log into Credit Card Center?

You must be enrolled in Internet Banking to access Credit Card Center. After logging into your account, click on the "Credit Card Center" button within Internet Banking System.

Q: How long are Customer Service inquiries saved within Credit Card Center?

Inquiries are saved and available for viewing for six months. After six months, they are removed from the system.

Q: If I change my address on the Change Contact Information page, will that change my address for all my Farm Bureau Bank accounts?

Changing your address on the Change Contact Information page will change all your accounts serviced by Farm Bureau Bank.

Q: What browser settings do I need enabled to access Credit Card Center?

Your browser must use 256-bit encryption and have JavaScript enabled. By default, JavaScript is enabled in both Internet Explorer and Netscape. Internet Explorer does not allow the JavaScript setting to be changed. Netscape does allow you to disable the JavaScript setting. Instructions for enabling JavaScript in the most recent versions of Netscape are listed below:
